Wes Blakeslee, DMD
Dr. Wesley Blakeslee completed his undergraduate studies at Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania. After two years of graduate study in biology at Seton Hall University where he was a teaching assistant, he was accepted to UMDNJ-NJ Dental School where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1979. The creator and host of the podcast program for the Academy of General Dentistry, Dr Blakeslee interviews prominent dental educators, clinicians and manufacturers on the latest products, materials and techniques in dentistry.
Ted Borris, DDS
A former high school teacher and guidance counselor in Chicago, Dr. Ted Borris spent 32 years doing general dentistry first in the US Air Force in Texas and then private practice in Mount Prospect, Illinois. Feeling the need for personal change and development, Ted became the Director of Scientific Programs for the Chicago Dental Society Midwinter Meeting in 2014. Now, he and his wife of many years, Carolyn, traverse the country looking for the next great dental meeting speaker to bring to Chicago.
Trish is AADOM’s Project Manager working with Lorie Streeter, Karin Bennett, AADOM’s sponsors and vendors. She is responsible for the coordination of projects and activities including webinars, the Observer magazine, The Going Green Initiative and AADOM Speaker and Consultant Alliance projects. Trish brings over 25 years’ experience in the areas of sales and marketing working a variety of businesses and non-profit community service organizations throughout California’s central valley. Trish was born and raised in California and enjoys being involved in her community. She has served on the board of directors for Networking for Women and Visalians for Sober Graduation and volunteered with several organizations including the American Cancer Society, College of the Sequoias Foundation, Downtown Visalians and the Visalia Parks and Recreation Foundation. She lives in California with her three rescue dogs and enjoys community theater, events and concerts. She is excited to be working with such a knowledgeable and enthusiastic team of professionals!
Denise Ciardello always knew she wanted to be an entrepreneur. And today she is co-founder of Global Team Solutions (GTS), a practice management-consulting firm. She is also a professional speaker and published author who brings experience, insight, and creativity into her consulting, along with a sense of humor. Jordon Comstock is the founder and CEO of BoomCloud. Jordon started his career in the dental industry managing a dental lab and soon realized the need for our industry to create membership programs. He studies UX/UI design, web development and marketing at the Art Institute of Salt Lake City.

Anne Duffy is a graduate of Ohio State University’s School of Dental Hygiene. She continues to practice one day a week and is the chair of the Dental Hygiene Board at CPCC. In 1998, Anne helped launch Dental Entrepreneur magazine at the ADA Conference in San Francisco. She took over as editor and publisher in 2002. Currently Dental Entrepreneur: Business Beyond the Classroom goes to every dental school in the country and to young dentists practicing ten years or less.
Bonnie has spent more than 20 years in the orthodontic and dental professions and has owned or led multiple companies through change and growth. She began her career with ClassOne Orthodontics, and later co-founded other companies, including OrthoQuest, The Progressive Orthodontist and The Progressive Dentist. She started The Progressive Dentist, originally a printed magazine as a way to connect dentists, specialists and their teams with the right resources at the right times to build and maintain thriving practices. It has evolved and was recently acquired to create a collaborative digital ecosystem where everyone on the dental team can share ideas and resources. She remains dedicated to helping orthodontists and dentists to differentiate their practices, improve practice profitability and live a life they love.
In November, 2018, Bonnie joined the Dental Monitoring team as Director of Marketing, North America to help expand the company’s footprint and market share in the US and Canada. She is relocating to Austin, TX, to establish the new US headquarters for DM. She’s happily writing her life’s next chapter with her husband of 30 years, Chris and her four-legged assistant, Wrigley.
When it comes to working at a dental practice, Janice Janssen has seen and done it all. Since her introduction into the field as a teen, she has worked as a dental hygienist and in other roles including office management, insurance billing, and collections. As co-founder of Global Team Solutions (GTS), Janice enjoys consulting because it allows her to share her techniques with the doctors, hygienists, and office staff who are on the front line every day. She is a member of the Academy of Dental Management Consultants (ADMC), and is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), which positions her as an expert dental practice fraud and embezzlement.
Cindy is the Manager, Dental Team, Advocacy & Content Development for the American Dental Association’s (ADA) Practice Institute/Center for Dental Practice (CDP). She manages the development and delivery of various practice management resources and live and on-demand educational programs. Topics covered in those resources and CE offerings include managing: patient communications; practice finances; marketing; regulatory matters; the dental team; professional risks; and more. A resource to help dentists manage their practices or while working as an associate/employee while planning a family is currently in development. Cindy supports the planning and marketing of CDP conferences on such topics as group practice and transition planning and she is the ADA’s primary liaison to the professional membership organizations representing allied dental personnel. She has held positions in government relations, marketing, account management, corporate philanthropy, and employee communications. She has a BA in Communications from DePaul University.
Dr. Florin Lazarescu is the President of the European Society of Cosmetic Dentistry (ESCD) and founding member and corporate director of the Society of Esthetic Dentistry in Romania (SSER), the most important dentistry association in Romania.

Kim has been in the dental industry for almost 30 years. In 2013, she started her own consulting business, Common Sense Dental Advisors, specializing in developing and executing customized marketing plans to help clients achieve their business goals. In addition to her consulting business, she is a popular dental speaker and writer.
Kim lives in Illinois with her husband, Bob. She has two grown daughters and two awesome grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys riding her Harley and has a passion for cooking and golf.
William J. Moorhead, DMD
William J. Moorhead DMD has practiced family and sedation dentistry in Flemingsburg, Kentucky for over 30 years. Dr. Moorhead is a graduate of the University of Louisville, where he was a member of the Phi Delta Prosthetic Honor Fraternity. Dr. Moorhead has served as President of the Blue Grass Dental Society in Lexington, Kentucky, and is also a Past President of the Kentucky Dental Association. He currently serves as Chair of the KDA’s Council on Annual Sessions. Dr. Moorhead has received Fellowships from the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, the Pierre Fauchard Academy and the International College of Dentists. He is a member of the Crown Council, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, American Dental Association, Kentucky Dental Association and the Blue Grass Dental Society. Dr. Moorhead has been developing systems to overcome the challenging issues of staff absenteeism, turnover, lack of quick and adequate training, and high overhead, and has thoroughly documented these systems for other dentists to use.

Dr. Ross W. Nash earned his undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University, Raleigh, NC. in Textile Engineering in 1970. He worked as an engineer before entering dentistry school in 1974 at the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry, Chapel Hill, NC. Dr. Nash graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1978 and has focused his practice in the area of esthetic dentistry since 1980. Dr. Nash began writing and presenting programs on cosmetic and esthetic dentistry in 1982.
He has been adjunct faculty member at the Medical College of Georgia, School of Dentistry in Augusta, Baylor Dental School and New York University. He is director of Nash Institute for Dental Learning, The Esthetic Epitome Seminar Series, in Huntersville, North Carolina.
Dr. Nash’s excitement towards dentistry is as great today as the day he graduated dental school. The cosmetic scope of dentistry opens new windows for both patient and dental professionals in esthetic and restorative dentistry. The ever-constant improvement of materials, techniques, and technology make dentistry a perpetual challenge. I was born in 1972 and have been a resident of Hot Springs Arkansas since 1974. I graduated Lakeside High School and later completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville in 1995. From there, I attended the University of Tennessee, Memphis School of Dentistry in 1999. After receiving my Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree, I returned to Hot Springs in June of 1999 to start my dental practice. I have been married to Dee Ann since 1995 and have three beautiful daughters: Hannah (20), Madelyn (18), and Sarah (14). I enjoy sports and fishing. I have enjoyed practicing general dentistry for over 18 years in private practice.

Dr. John E Taylor graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in 1987. He developed a fee-for-service private practice in Oklahoma City until 2010, when he chose to sell everything and move to Southern California where he met and married his wife Guille. He purchased a practice in Ladera Ranch and is continuing his passion of providing excellent dental care for his patients. He also continued to be active in organized dentistry and is currently serving as President for the Orange County Dental Society and several positions within CDA.
