Kathy is the Executive Director of the Third District Dental Society. In 1997 she began her dental society career as the Executive Secretary and soon was handling most of the duties of the office. In 2000 she was promoted to Assistant Executive Director and in 2001 became the first non-dentist executive director. Her biggest accomplishment was the planning and implementing the annual membership meeting. Growing from a short program with 2 speakers to a day and a half event with 6 speakers and up to 350 attendees and record sponsorships and exhibitors. Kathy is inspiring to instruct other dental society event planners on how to effectively plan and grow their own meetings and events.
