Shirley M. Kelly
Shirley Kelly is president of Dental Office Solutions, LLC, a
dental staffing firm that provides temporary and permanent employees
to dental practices in the Winston Salem area. Shirley also provides
practice management consulting through Shirley M. Kelly & Associates,
a subsidiary of Dental Office Solutions. Shirley M. Kelly & Associates
is a consulting firm that provides practice management services
to small and medium size dental practices. She consults with dentist
and their staff to help create management solutions to reduce or
eliminate various problems.
She has more than 18 years of management experience in a variety
of industries. Before starting her company, she worked as a regional
manager for BrightNow! Dental, one of the leading DPM Corporations
in the nation. She managed multiple facilities and was responsible
for all aspects of operations from staffing, implementation of
policy and procedures, OSHA compliance to setting incentives and
achieving financial goals of the her region. She suggested many
ideas that helped increase collections and revenues. She also reduced
the turnover of her region by 15%.
Shirley began her dental career in 1994, as an administrator for
a private dental practice. Within two years she helped expand the
practice to include a second location. Prior to working in the
dental industry, she worked as a manager for an independent automobile
leasing company.
Shirley earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration
and a certificate in human resource management from University
of Phoenix. In addition to her professional career, she enjoys
traveling, jigsaw puzzles, reading, and spending time with her
family.
Raised in Los Angeles, California, Shirley now lives with her
husband, son and pet poodles in North Carolina. Shirley is a member
of several organizations including the Professional Women of Winston
Salem, Linda Miles Speaker Consultant Network, NAFE and does volunteer
work at various places around the area.
